The location of the apartment is fantastic. The Piste is only 100 metres away, so there is no need to worry about driving, parking and walking with heavy equipment such as skis, snowboards, poles etc. You can literally put your skis on at the front door, ski all day and take them off again at the front door when you have finished. Once you are on the ski slope there is a short descent of 250 meters to the Valley Station of the "Achter Jet" ski lift which will take you high up the mountain.

The apartment is located on the "Griessenkarweg", which is the service road for the main ski slopes and "Berg hutten" of Flachau. This means that everything in the town is accessible by foot. The nearest "Musistadl" restaurant is 5 minutes walk and the main shopping area, supermarkets, information centre, pubs, post office and restaurants are only a ten minute walk away.

• Road

  Flachau itself is in the heart of the Salzburger Sportwelt region and is only 45 minutes away from Salzburg along the A10 motorway. This motorway cuts straight through Austria and is the main route from Munich to Italy. Access because of bad weather is therefore never a concern, whether you are travelling North, South, East or West.

  Please note that during winter it is highly recommended that visitors invest in the rental of a snow worthy vehicle (we use a four wheel drive) and that a full set of snow chains are in any vehicle that will be used during their stay.

• Air

  Flachau is easily accessible from three different international airports. Munich Airport is just over two hours away; both Salzburg and Klagenfurt Airports are 45 minutes away, albeit in opposite directions.

• Rail

  The nearest rail connection is at Bischofshoven which is only 20 minutes away from the town.
